GUITAR/BASS/VOCALS: ROCH: an inspired musician hailing from Montreal, roch is a versatile singer, multi-instrumentalist and a highly trained martial artist (he don't mess around!) He is also the drummer for the Vancouver-based Beatles tribute band, Twist and Shout.
PIANO/GUITAR/VOCALS: MESHE : grew up in Yellowknife and flowered into music right here in Vancouver. Must be the cherry blossoms!
She spends her time singing, playing piano, guitar bass and cello, training with roch, ashtanga-ing, sunning and being sung.
DRUMS: DANNY SMITH: hails from Calgary, where he began his journey in visual arts and music. He also works with the Drum Cafe, bringing people together through percussion while attending Emily Carr.
CELLO: QUINTIUS: brought to you by the far off land of Edmonton. Cellist, composer, and poet extraordinaire, he is known for his artsy fits, and spends most of his waking life either in the grips of one, or planning the next. At this moment he is magnificent, as are you.

A bit about the Me Shell: The Me Shell arose over the course of 1 1/2 years. Here is a radio interview with roch and meshe about the me shell (starts at about 20 minutes). Conceptually, it is an expression of transcending the shell of personality: these songs are pearls floating within the me me me sea. Catagorize this music under Journey- the songs travel through gypsy jazz, pop, folk, rock and classical styles. Instrumentally the Me Shell is comprised of piano, guitar/bass/drums, cello and violins with meshe's full dark voice tying all the tracks together.
