...so the band in it's current constellation has been around now since June, but are temporarily on hiatus as Jean and Roisin finish up their school semester and the rest of us kick into recording mode. Right now i'm working on some funding for our new (YAY!) projects, "Revolutionary Lullabies", a collection of, ahem, revolutionary lullabies, meant to awaken and soothe, inspire and ignite.
Many of these songs will also be used on "Seeds of the Sun", A musical Lam Rim that will come out in the next few years, including the entire english contents of the Asian Classics Institute Course on Applied Meditation (www.acidharma.org). ACI Course 3, to be exact =) put together in an accessible and beautiful way, with artwork by Marne Recker.
We will be touring "Revolutionary Lullabies" next spring/summer, so if you'd like us to come to your town (or local yoga studio), let us know! email: meshe @ mooncircus.ca
Lastly, we need a banjo-player for 'Maybe in November', in case there are any out there, and we also need all the help we can get with funding, so support our Kickstarter initiative, coming out soon.
Love love,
Meshe
